Dutch Conversations 1

Your first conversation in Dutch

It can be daunting at first if you haven’t started learning Dutch and you just listen to the language – all these harsh sounds and quick sentences! We feel you; for many people it can be too difficult to even start. At HoiHoi Language School you will get started in a fun way, because showing up is the hardest part. We would be thrilled – and frankly honoured – to assist you with your first Dutch conversation for beginners.

Learn Dutch online with this online group course (max. 10 people) that will get you started with speaking, listening and writing in Dutch. We will have engaging exercises and fun conversations for you to practice with your classmates.

What you'll get

  1. After this course you will be able to:

    • Say Hi and Bye
    • Introduce yourself
    • Express how you are feeling
    • Talk about your family and/or friends
    • Express your opinion on food, music, clothing, etc.
    • Order in a bar or restaurant

  2. After completing you know about:

    • Pronouns, adjectives and adverbs
    • The placement of subject, verb(s) and other elements in sentences
    • Inversion
    • Articles (de/het/een)
    • Negation
  3. What you’ll get:
    • Fun, interactive in-person fieldtrip 
    • Test with certificate to know your level at the end of the course
    • Access to our HoiHoi community

 • (Small) group course (minimum of 4 – maximum of 8 students).
 • Total course time: 20 hours
 • Quality learning hours with coaching from an experienced teacher AND learning from peers at the same time
